Joyfully Accomplishing some very Important Work

   The remote and rural south western corner of Uganda is spectacularly beautiful. Each year, thousands of people, from countries all around the world, travel to the region to spend time with the famed Bwindi Mountain Gorillas. And now, there is another great reason for you and your friends to extend your visit in this area.

   Down a twisting dirt road, on the shores of stunning Lake Mutanda, is a small rural school. St. Peter’s Primary School is a humble and hope-filled place that is quietly accomplishing the very important work of educating young people. Anyone who visits this school can’t help but be moved by the youthful energy and optimism that radiates from both students and staff. Despite the obvious lack of resources, there are no complaints or excuses.

   During your visit to the school you will experience a spontaneous explosion of smiles and songs. There will be much laughter and curiosity. Prepare yourself to be wrapped in authentic happiness and joy. You will be reluctant to depart. You will want to stay connected.
