Once again, all sixteen of the Primary Level 7 students at St. Peter’s Primary School who wrote the national Primary Leaving Exam (P.L.E.) this past November, have passed. This is a remarkable accomplishment. Students, parents, and teachers can rightfully be proud of these wonderful results. A 100% pass rate is ample evidence of the combined efforts of hard working students, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents. St. Peter’s Primary School congratulates these sixteen grads on their achievement and offers its best wishes to every budding scholar in their future educational endeavours.

For those wanting some help in interpreting the results …

  • 16 students wrote the exam – 10 female and 6 male
  • Students were tested in the following subject areas: English, Science, Social Studies (Geography, History, Religion), and Mathematics
  • In each of these subject areas, they were awarded an aggregate score based on their work
  • From this aggregate score, they were awarded a division or grade. DIV 1-4. Though it does not 100% translate, a DIV 1 would be an “A”, DIV 2 – a “B”, DIV 3 – a “C”, and a DIV 4 – a “D”.
  • St. Peter’s Primary School students achieved no DIV 1 or DIV 4 scores, but earned 11 DIV 2, and 5 DIV 3
  • No student, who wrote the exam, failed the exam.
