When students, their parents and teachers gathered on Sunday, February 5th 2023, they were in a mood to celebrate and to recognize the amazing accomplishments of the “Brilliant 14.” The Chair of the Parent Council, Mr. Krizanti Iraguha, welcomed everyone and expressed his happiness with the recently announced results of the Primary Leaving Exam (P.L.E.). All 14 of St. Peter’s graduating candidates passed this important national exam. Indeed, their collective results were better than any other primary school in the Nyundo sub county.

The 100% graduation rate is a wonderful testament of the quality of education that students receive at St. Peter’s. It is also a strong indication of how well the students and teachers (along with parents) worked together to overcome some of the challenges of recent pandemic interruptions to their schooling. All their hard work has certainly paid off.

Krizanti Iraguha, on behalf of the Parent Council, and Mr. Africano Ngabirano (Head Teacher) made a presentation of various practical gifts for the “Brilliant 14” who are now headed off to their secondary education. Afterwards, everyone headed outside the church for a round of photos. Such important occasions as this, deserve to be recorded for posterity.

Congratulations to all the successful Graduates of 2022. We are proud of what you have accomplished at St. Peter’s and we wish you all our very best in your future education and endeavours.
