Despite our very modest means, St. Peter’s Primary School is a remarkable success story. Other primary schools envy our results. 100% of our 2022 graduating class successfully passed their recent national Primary Leaving Exam (P.L.E.). Early success in education truly changes a child’s future. Education at St. Peter’s Primary School is helping these young students escape poverty and become contributing members and role models for subsequent generations.
But we know we can do even better! We want to build on our success.
With YOUR help, we can:

Rest assured too that we will share with you exact details on how your donation was spent. School Uniform
Some of the families of our students simply cannot afford school uniforms. Your donation will help purchase ONE (boy or girl’s) school uniform.
Recognition and Encouragement Gifts
Small gifts and treats each month to our top students are appreciated and also serve to inspire others to work hard in their studies. Your donation is like a gentle pat-on-the-back to our deserving students.
Teacher Prep Books
Teachers need access to a variety of resources when planning their lessons. Your donation will purchase a complete one term set of prep books for a much appreciative educator.
Hand Sanitizing
Little kids are germ machines. Your donation will purchase enough hand washing equipment and 2 litres of gel sanitizer to last the school one term.

Tuition for one Student
Enrol a student in our school for one term (three months) and include their breakfast and lunch as well. Education is a wonderful investment.
Writing Supplies
Pens and pencils have this habit of disappearing or getting lost at the bottom of kids backpacks. With your help, we can purchase enough writing supplies to last the entire school for one term.
School Cook's Salary
He’s the most popular person at the school just before breakfast and lunch. Help us show our appreciation for his efforts by paying the cook’s salary for one month.
Chart Paper
Blackboards soon fill up so we hang up sheets of chart paper in our classrooms to create lasting visual notes for students. A donation of this amount will purchase a year’s supply of chart paper for our school.

Five Student Desks
As our enrolment has grown, so too has our need for more student desks. Make a donation in this amount and we will be able to purchase five more new student desks for our school from a local carpenter.
Extra Help
Help fund, for one school term, a special school class for students who need extra one on one time with a teacher.
School Nurse's Salary
She’s the lady with the bandages who helps keep all of our students healthy and active. Help us underscore her importance by paying her salary for one month.
Our Website
Website domain registration and the associated hosting costs can soon add up. Help us keep our school on the internet for six months.

TEN Student Desks
With your support at this level we can purchase ten additional new student desks or use the funds to repair and recycle existing desks with the advice and assistance of a local carpenter.
Library Books
We’re excited to start creating a school library for our students. Your donation will go to support the purchase of new books, magazines, and other print resources that will further open up the world for our students.
Teacher's Salary
We all know how hard teachers work both in and outside the classroom. They are absolutely crucial to the success of a young child’s education. Your donation will pay the salary of a teacher for one month.
Drinking Water Tank
Students must now bring their own drinking water from home to school. With your support, we could purchase a large water tank that would hold a quantity of safe drinking water for our entire school.

Tuition for six Students
Enrol SIX eager students in our school for one term and provide them with breakfast and lunch to fuel their studies.
Exam & Testing Costs
We are required by our Ministry of Education to annually test all students in a variety of areas. Your donation of this amount would help us cover all the testing costs and fees – for all our students – for one year.
Tea Break and Lunch
Show your gratitude to all our teachers and support workers. Your donation would fund a tea break and lunch for all staff for one term. It’s a meaningful and much appreciated way to say thank you.
Concrete and Plaster
Our six existing classrooms have dirt floors and bare brick walls. Several donations of this size would go a long way to covering the costs of pouring proper concrete floors and plastering the walls.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND …
In the interest of full transparency, the stated costing of individual items above are meant as approximations only. Some items may cost more or less than the stated donation amount. If the final cost is less, the remainder of your original donation is applied to satisfying another need. If the cost is more, we will pool multiple donations together. For example, a tank for drinking water costs more than $200 USD to purchase, install and maintain. Multiple donations will be needed to make this happen. Local logistics and the daily practicalities of operating a small rural school do not always allow us to offer you a specific “menu choice” to fund. But we promise to try. We promptly inform all our supporters regarding the details of how their funds were used to support education at St. Peter’s Primary School.
